This is Katherine Isgren with another daily reminder about communication
Anger in any conversation is poison. It can lead to escalating conflict and even violence.
No one is really safe. It can be all dressed up and dripping in fancy words to make it look attractive but it still does not change what it is.
I must always recognize my own anger and have a preplanned and practiced plan in every form of communication. Perhaps I need to know my anger triggers, or know how to pause when agitated. “Showtime” Verbal Defense and Influence ongoing training helps me role play for anger in real situations with partners to keep my skills up.
Am I practicing regular “showtime” or anger situations?
